The Studio's Q3 Revenue Tripled To €39.6 Million!

Story Highlight
  • Remedy’s Q3 revenue grew by 226% YoY to €39.6 million, going up from just €12.2 million in Q3 2025.
  • This massive climb was driven largely by Control Resonant, as the quarter counted the first week of its sales.
  • The game has already sold over a million copies, becoming the fastest Remedy entry to hit the milestone.

Remedy has finally hit its stride after the lukewarm reception of FBC: Firebreak. Its latest release, Control Resonant, has been a huge success, hitting the one million sales milestone in three weeks, the fastest title to do so compared to Alan Wake 2’s 2-month timeline.

The studio’s quarterly financial report is out, revealing that its Q3 revenue increased by 226% YoY to €39.6 million. To put things into perspective, its Q3 revenue last year stood at just €12.2 million. Remedy attributes this staggering climb to Control Resonant’s sales.

Why it matters: Control Resonant has been a huge success for Remedy, proving to be a huge upgrade over the original in terms of overall innovation and gameplay. It is still expected to sell in the millions in the coming weeks, helping Remedy fund other projects in the pipeline.

Remedy Entertainment's revenue has shot past 266% in Q3, hitting €39.6m thanks to Control Resonant's success.
Remedy’s revenue climbed 226% in Q3, hitting €39.6m due to Control Resonant.

As per the financial report, Remedy’s Q3 quarter included Control Resonant’s pre-orders and the first 7 days of game sales, tripling its Q3 revenue YoY in just a week. The CEO described the game as a ‘defining milestone for the company.’

The studio’s operating profit improved to €0.6 million, compared to a €16.4 million operating loss in 2025. Additionally, the game sales and royalties amounted to roughly €35 million of total Q3 revenue, up from €6 million YoY.

Remedy also reveals that nearly half of all Control Resonant players were new to the franchise, so the IP has grown significantly since the last release.

Meanwhile, the US was the game’s largest market on PC and consoles, accounting for nearly half of all sales. Chinese-speaking regions and the UK boasted second and third place on PC, while the UK and Canada took second and third spots on consoles, respectively.

Control Resonant
Control Resonant attracted old and new players alike.

The studio’s current goal is to get Control Resonant in the hands of as many new players as possible. And the approximately 2.4 million remaining wishlists suggest that a huge potential for future sales still remains.
