Emily Grace Buck recently announced that she will soon join Hangar 13 as the Narrative Director for Mafia.

The developer will oversee the narrative direction of the entire IP, effectively leading the direction for the next big mainline title once she joins the studio, starting from June later this year.

Emily Grace Buck brings years of narrative directing experience to Hangar 13. The developer has previously worked at the likes Dice, Ubisoft, and Telltale Games on various projects.

Her latest work includes the narrative direction for Battlefield 6 as part of DICE. In particular, the developer has contributed to the game’s evolving live-service narrative across the many seasons that have been released so far.

The developer now has big shoes to fill, but because Emily Grace Buck is far from inexperienced in this department, the series seems to be in good hands. The Mafia games are famous for their stories and characters, and if Emily Grace Buck’s track record is any sign, future entries will be no exception.
