Developer Hangar 13 is also likely to be enthusiastic about the series’ return. In fact, it seems the team already has plans to expand the series with future titles.
Why it matters: Hangar 13 took around nine years to make a fourth mainline entry for the IP. This job listing suggests that the fifth mainline release will not take nearly as long.
Over on the Hangar 13 website, the studio is looking to hire a Principal AI Designer.
Although the job listing states that the employee will contribute to Mafia: The Old Country, the game has already gone gold, and no significant changes will be made that require new hirings.
Additionally, the job listing states that the Principal AI Designer will be responsible for crafting new visions for a Mafia game.

However, this job listing suggests that Hangar 13, at the very least, plans to make another game as long as nothing goes terribly wrong.
