The Wait Is Finally Over!

Story Highlights
  • GTA 5 is over a decade old.
  • An extremely reliable leaker suggests Rockstar will announce the game this week.
  • An official trailer is expected to arrive next month on Rockstar’s 25th anniversary.

It has already been over a decade since the last GTA game came out, and fans have been desperately waiting for GTA 6. While the game was never officially announced by Rockstar, a hacker leaked many videos last year.

Since then, fans have been anticipating an official reveal. An insider recently hinted at an announcement before the end of November, and it seems this may not have been far from the truth.

According to a reliable source, GTA 6 will be announced this week.

Why it matters: GTA 6 has become the most anticipated game in the industry due to Rockstar’s secretive nature and the ten-year gap between entries.

According to Bloomberg, sources have confirmed that an official announcement can occur this week. If true, this would end years of anticipation and speculation since millions of fans had been waiting for this moment.

12 years have passed since Rockstar showed the first trailer of GTA 5, and now, a week later, we may get official word on the next GTA title. Furthermore, the report suggests that an official trailer is coming next month.

This would line up with the studio’s 25th anniversary. Since Bloomberg and Jason Schreier have been extremely reliable, we believe it is safe to be excited for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto information.

Take-Two Interactive will also present its financial report today. The studio may tease or point toward this announcement during the report, in addition to providing updated sales figures for releases like GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2.

Nonetheless, like everyone else, we have been extremely excited about GTA 6. We can’t wait to see an official announcement and the eventual trailer that will follow.
