- The Duskbloods previews appear set to go live next week.
- These previews should reveal more information about the game after FromSoftware’s rather limited marketing so far.
- A closed network test is also planned for later this month, revealing further details about the game.
FromSoftware officially announced its latest title, The Duskbloods, last year. An exclusive for the Nintendo Switch 2, this title continues the trend of FromSoftware experimenting with multiplayer gameplay.
Although information regarding The Duskbloods hasn’t been too abundant so far, the game could receive a new wave of previews soon.
Why it matters: The Duskbloods’ PvPvE premise could make for a very different title, so fans are interested in whatever information the team is prepared to share ahead of launch. Some are also not sold on the game, so previews may help bring them around on FromSoftware’s approach.
The preview embargo for The Duskbloods will drop on August 20th

As shared on Reddit, a preview video related to The Duskbloods was briefly listed as part of the German show Game Two. According to the listing, said preview will go live on August 20.
This listing has now been taken down, but fans have taken it to mean that official press previews of FromSoftware’s Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive will arrive later this week. Interestingly, The Duskbloods’ closed network test will be held just one day later.
Elden Ring’s previews before launch came out in a similar manner, arriving close to the network test. If this ends up happening, players who go through the previews should also know to expect and be better prepared for FromSoftware’s network test.
Nonetheless, these previews should be good news, especially since many fans will not be able to play the network test.

Reports also suggest the game is still planned for 2026. FromSoftware’s recent silence on the game has created doubts within the community, but it seems no delay is planned for the time being.
