Bandai Namco Gearing Up For New Previews!

Story Highlight
  • Elden Ring’s upcoming DLC will be released on June 21st, 2024.
  • According to reports, content creators are being invited by Bandai Namco to play the DLC.
  • Previews should be coming soon, providing more details, hands-on impressions, gameplay videos, and more.

Elden Ring’s expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, is one of the most anticipated, if not the most anticipated, DLCs of all time. The buzz behind this expansion continues to grow, with fans dying to receive another look.

While FromSoftware has stopped talking about Shadow of the Erdtree since the first reveal, it seems new information is inbound. According to reports, Bandai Namco is set to host a preview event very soon.

Why it matters: Preview events are the norm in gaming. Various developers like to accelerate marketing efforts closer to release.

Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Is Going To Be The First And Last DLC

Emiru revealed on Twitch that she had been invited to play the DLC early on. She suggests that Bandai Namco is set to fly out content creators as part of the marketing efforts.

I was Invited to do some early release stuff for the Elden Ring DLC.

Emiru is one of the bigger content creators with a lot of influence, so it is not surprising that Bandai Namco invited her to play the DLC beforehand.

Bandai Namco is known for following this pattern before new releases. The publisher typically hosts preview events a month before release, and Elden Ring arrives on June 21st, so the timing lines up.

The same happened with Armored Core 6, as the previews were out around a month before release. Since several content creators will be present at the event, fans should look forward to exclusive interviews, extensive gameplay footage, and hands-on impressions.

Needless to say, this should be exciting for everyone in the Elden Ring community. FromSoftware has already revealed a lot about the scope of Shadow of the Erdtree and its status as the only Elden Ring DLC.

However, with more yet to be revealed, fans can look forward to a slew of new information soon.

Since the DLC is said to be quite challenging, we hope to see a new look at one of the major bosses. This expansion could prove to be Elden Ring’s final hurrah, so we hope the DLC lives up to the anticipation.
