Elden Ring Shadow of The Erdtree Is Here And 62% Players Can’t Play It

Mohg Is Hard But The DLC Will Be Even Harder!

Story Highlight
  • Many players are hyped for the upcoming expansion of Elden Ring.
  • However, to access the DLC, players must defeat Mohg, Lord of Blood, one of the hardest bosses in-game.
  • Unsurprisingly, only 38.8% of the players have beaten this boss, meaning most of the players won’t be able to play it right away.

Elden Ring, released in 2022, set the bar for open-world games, and it is still fresh in most fans’ minds. That is mainly because of the experience it provided, as it is hard to forget the moments when you rage quit.

That said, overcoming the challenges in such games is worth it. There are many bosses in the game that give players a hard time, and Malenia and Mohg are two of them. Not many players have beaten them, and beating Mohg is essential for the upcoming expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree.

Almost 62% of the players won’t be able to enjoy the goodness of the DLC if things remain like this.

Why it matters: The DLC requires you to beat one of the hardest bosses in the base game, as it is going to be even more challenging, so it makes sense.

Mohg-Lord-of-Blood-Steam-Achievement
Only 38.8% of the players have Mohg Lord of Blood Steam Achievement.

As per the Steam achievements, only 38.8% of the players have beaten Mohg, Lord of Blood. This is by no means surprising, as he is arguably one of the hardest bosses in the base game.

The boss’s first phase isn’t easy, but as soon as he starts chanting Nihil, you are in for trouble, as he will heal a chunk of his health. That said, every boss in Elden Ring is beatable, and Mohg is no exception.

Fans shouldn’t confuse Mohg, Lord of Blood, with Mohg, The Omen, as they both are different bosses. To be able to access the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, you must defeat the boss, and you better start doing it right now, as the DLC is right around the corner

Overcoming this challenge will make you ready for the DLC, so it is for your own good. New bosses await you in the DLC, and as many have said in the previews, the Divine Beast Dancing Lion is giving players skill checks.

Now imagine how hard Mesmer The Impaler is going to be, given that he defeated a bunch of these beasts. That said, we would highly recommend players defeat Mohg, Lord of Blood, and avoid using cheese methods.

He is a remembrance boss, so of course, the fight will be memorable for you. The intro, Ost, and boss fight- everything in this fight has been tuned up to perfection, so make sure to beat him.
