Blood Knight Joins The Franchise Next Week!

Diablo 4 has earned the title of the fastest-selling game from Blizzard. The game made more than $666 Million in less than a week, following a record-breaking beta for the popular franchise. As such, the entire franchise has recently grown in popularity.

Blizzard has recently revealed more information about the entire franchise. The first Diablo 4 season will be available on July 20. Additionally, a new Blood Knight class is joining Diablo Immortal.

Why it matters: Blood Knight is the first class in nearly a decade to be introduced in Diablo, so it is a big deal for the fans. Previously, the Crusader class was released in 2014.

This new class will be coming to Diablo Immortal on July 13, making it the seventh class in the franchise. Fans will now have more choices than ever, with Blizzard ensuring plenty of variety in the game. The company has also revealed the lore of this class.

Blood Knights are humans bit by vampires. However, they were saved by an Ancient Order. The curse was halted, which let the humans recover. Following the recovery, they gained the ability to turn into creatures known as Abomination.

The developers describe Abomination as:

“the Blood Knight letting the curse off the leash a little bit”

The Blood Knight has a moveset that is compatible with spears, and it can use a skill known as Syphon Blood. This skill allows Blood Knight to float through the air. While the skill is activated, enemies that come close will also have their life drained.

Fans should note that this class will only be available in Diablo Immortal on July 13. Blizzard has not confirmed if the new class will join Diablo 4. However, it is likely given the popularity of the game and Blizzard’s plans for future support.
