Dead Island 2: Around 30-Minutes of Gameplay Footage Leaked

Ahead Of Its Release On April 21!

Dead Island 2 was announced almost a decade ago, in 2014, and has not yet been released. However, the nearly decade-long wait will end soon, with the game scheduled to launch on April 21, 2023, which is just a few days away.

Much information about the game has leaked over the years, and as the release date draws nearer, more leaks are appearing online. In addition to reports that some lucky players had already played the game early, about 30 minutes of gameplay footage has leaked online.

Recently, a YouTuber named LucasCosmisco streamed 30 minutes of Dead Island 2 gameplay on his channel.

This footage showed the game’s beginning section, which was the same as the 11 minutes of footage we saw earlier this month but more detailed in the leaked footage.

The gameplay footage includes the game’s intro, which introduces the various characters and begins on the evacuation plane, also shown in the game’s official gameplay footage.

Dead Island 2 looks excellent and matches many people’s expectations since many anticipated the game to be in the best shape possible, given how long it had been delayed.

In Dead Island 2, players can choose between six characters nicknamed Slayers. Each character in the game comes with unique skill systems and upgrades. Additionally, Dead Island 2 will also feature a three-player online co-op option.

After being postponed, the release date of Dead Island 2 was initially set for April 28, but after going gold, it was brought forward by a week to April 21. Furthermore, the hype surrounding the title has not subsided despite being postponed for so long, and many are looking forward to it more than before.

Following the issues, Sumo Digital took over the game, and it was not until 2019 that Dambuster Studios, who are now working on Dead Island 2, started working on the project.

The game will debut on various modern consoles and will be available on Epic Games for PC users. Moreover, you will need 16 GB RAM and an RTX 3090 for a 4K experience on PC. Dead Island 2 promises to be fun and looks intriguing, as the industry anticipates its launch with excitement.

Do you think the leaked gameplay looks good? Are you buying Dead Island 2? Let’s discuss this in the comments.
