Bluepoint Games New Project Could Be Bloodborne Remaster

Bloodborne Remaster Announcement Soon?

We have heard some great news in this year’s Game Awards, such as the release date of Street Fighter 6, the sequel to Death Stranding, the Tekken 8 gameplay reveal, the Diablo 4 release date, and many others.

Fans were disappointed that there was no news regarding the Bloodborne Remaster or the patch. However, Sony is on a streak to remaster, and most of the games are now available with a 60FPS patch on PlayStation 5; Sony continues to ignore Bloodborne Remaster with 4K/60FPS.

But now, Bloodborne fans might be in for some treat. Bluepoint teased their next PlayStation project, which seems to be the Bloodborne Remaster.

As you can see in the tweet, one present can refer to Demon’s souls, the other can refer to  Shadow of the Colossus, and the third one to God of War Ragnarok. The fourth one hasn’t been revealed yet, so we hope it will be Bloodborne.

You might know that Bluepoint is famous for its Remakes and Remasters, like Shadow of the Colossus, Demon’s Souls and remastered God of War I and II (God of War Collection), God of War: Chains of Olympus, and Ghost of Sparta (Origins Collection). So, all the arrows are pointing toward Bloodborne Remaster.

On the other side, there are also some speculations that Sony might be saving Bloodborne for an eventual remake; while it makes some sense, the current state of Bloodborne is still highly disappointing.

While PlayStation’s recent remasters/remakes might be controversial, they are committed to preserving beloved titles. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Bloodborne.

The teaser from Bluepoint Games seems too good to be accurate, but the developer’s Christmas card at least has allowed fans to make some wild assumptions. With this limited information, we can’t be sure if the new Bluepoint project will be Bloodborne. Still, it is better to take this with a grain of salt.

We can now wait for further news from Bluepoint Games regarding this mysterious fourth present. We hope it is Bloodborne Remaster, or a remake of this game will be epic.

Aside from that, what do you think of this tease from Bluepoint Games? Please share your thoughts with us in the comments section.
