- Black Myth: Wukong was not released on Xbox Series S|X on launch.
- However, the game has been rated by ESRB for the series just recently.
- This means that an announcement of the game’s release on Xbox Series S|X will be made soon.
Black Myth: Wukong released in August became insanely popular that it broke many records on Steam. The game sold over 20 million units already and has become the most-played single-player game ever.
However, it wasn’t released on Xbox Series S|X which is why a massive chunk of fandom missed out on it but it seems like the wait is finally going to be over. Black Myth: Wukong has been rated for the Xbox Series by ESRB, hinting an announcement is coming soon.
Why it matters: Given how big this game became in just a couple of days Xbox fans were feeling left out but they will finally be able to play it.
We recently noted that the game is now rated for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series by ESRB. This means that an announcement for it to release on Xbox Series S|X is not that far away.
Previously, it was revealed that the game was delayed to Xbox due to memory leak issues but the gaming giant confirmed that the delay was not because of hardware issues.
Some insiders revealed that it is being delayed because Game Science made a secret exclusivity deal with PlayStation. However, nothing was officially confirmed. Whatever the reason is Xbox fans should be delighted to hear that the biggest hit of 2024 is finally coming to their preferred platform.
