The collectible map comes with the Amazon exclusive and launch editions of Assassin’s Creed Mirage. This expertly crafted map allows players to fully immerse themselves in the vibrant world of the latest Assassin’s Creed game.
Why it matters: Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the first Assassin’s Creed game in many years to feature a smaller world than recent entries, leading to curiosity about the world and its overall scope.

The collectible map is beautifully crafted, showcasing key locations that will play a significant role in the game’s story. Among the locations, Basim will find himself journeying through:
- Abbasiyah, Harbiyah, and Karkh districts
- Baghdad / Madīnat as-Salām
- Dur-Kurigalzu
- Jariariyah
- Alamut
- Al-Anbar
Although not as vast as the earlier installments, there will still be ample opportunities for players to explore a dense open world. It is tough to gauge the size from this image, but it appears Ubisoft has put effort into making the game world more compact.
There will be a lot to discover in this reimagined Baghdad, a time of great prosperity for the city. The game is expected to feature both dense urban areas for parkour and more open spaces, much like recent titles.
A smaller-sized world has likely allowed Ubisoft to address the criticism of vast and empty worlds from recent titles. Baghdad is expected to be full of life, providing a promising sandbox for Basim and his journey in the game.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is set to launch on various platforms, including the surprise addition of Amazon Luna. Recently, Ubisoft pushed the release date forward by a week, and now the game will release on October 5, 2023.
