Legacy of Kain is a video game series that features dark fantasy action-adventure gameplay, and almost everyone loves it. We haven’t seen much about this series lately except for the survey. The company recently launched a survey in October to see if fans wanted the revival of this series.
The Legacy of Kain’s survey received more than 100,000 responses, and the developer claimed that these types of surveys usually only receive a few thousand responses. With this, we can only imagine how much fans love this series and are excited about its revival. Given the popularity of the franchise.

The company was looking for what the players wanted, and they got their answers by earning more than 100,000 survey responses. While the responses were more than 100,000, according to the company, 73,000 gamers completed the survey, and the company thanked them for their effort in completing it.
Moreover, Crystal Dynamics said
“We saw the news of our survey shared across social and press platforms and we really felt this was a great way to reignite this passionate fan community with this legendary PC and console game series.
Rest assured, we hear you loudly and clearly, and we will continue to update you on the what if possibilities ahead for Legacy of Kain in the future.”
With this much information, we can be sure that the company will revive the Legacy of Kain series. It is surprising that the fandom is still present in large numbers even after the series is inactive for almost 2 decades. For every Legacy of Kain series fan, this is huge news, and they can finally expect the revival of this series.
It is to be noted that Square Enix, a UK-based Climax Studios worked on the reboot-style game for three years, abruptly canceled the unannounced Legacy of Kain: Dead Sun project in 2012. But the fans can rest assured as the company has stated that they hear fans loud and clear, meaning the series is coming back sooner or later.
Still, there is yet to be a confirmation if they will work on the sequel or remake. They could work on multiple projects simultaneously in response to the 100,000 survey responses. It won’t be surprising as the fandom should be treated.
