[Press-Release] Intel has officially revealed the upcoming 13th generation Intel Core processors. Several processors have been revealed, and a release date is set for October 20, 2022.

Following the reveal, Gigabyte has announced its Z790 AORUS motherboards for Intel’s upcoming line-up. The Z790 AORUS motherboards make use of top-of-the-line features to provide the best performance for PC users. 

Gigabyte’s Z790 motherboards come with all the features that users have come to expect from the AORUS products. These motherboards pack up to 20+1+2 phases of VRM with each phase holding up to 105 amps Fin-Array III heatsink design.

The Z790 line-up is also ready for next-generation graphics cards and SSDs. PCI-E 5.0 support is included out of the box, and consumers can take full advantage of the upcoming products with the enhanced SMD PCI-E 5.0 x16 and M.2 slots.

Intel’s Z790 platform includes support for DDR4 & DDR5 memory. Gigabyte Z790 motherboards will offer a wide range of products, covering both segments of the market. Z790 AORUS motherboards will come with features to help users reach optimal memory clocks. 

“DDR5 XMP Booster” can automatically detect controller brand in BIOS settings, allowing users to pick from several preset memory overclocking profiles for DDR5 memory. Meanwhile, “XMP 3.0 User Profile” enables users to customize XMP profiles to their liking.

Furthermore, Gigabyte Z790 AORUS Master and above motherboards also feature new generation Fins-Array III technology. This leads to significantly better heat dissipation by increasing thermal fin surface area by 9 times, compared to a traditional heatsink. 

Gigabyte has also included 2.5Gb Ethernet along with Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax on the Z790 AORUS products. Additionally, USB 3.2 Gen 2×2, 3.2 Gen 2 slots, and Thunderbolt 4 expansions are also included for connectivity.
