The developer has previously worked on titles like Conan Exiles, making the team a great fit for a new survival project.
However, not much is known about the project. A few concept art images popped up a few months ago, but the developer has largely remained silent. It seems like this silence will soon be broken, if a new tweet is anything to go by.
Reputed leaker, The Snitch has tweeted an image that could be hinting at a Dune trailer coming up soon. The insider has been reliable with his leaks on Hollow Knight Silksong and various other titles, in the past. His tweets are usually followed with official trailers for the games.

Gamescom is also right around the corner. The show is returning to an in-person format this year, and it would be a great event to showcase the AAA Dune title. Developer Funcom is likely working hard and a Gamescom showcase makes alot of sense for their next project.
