Rockstar recently revealed the GTA 6 collector’s edition with a bunch of merchandise and goodies. However, it has already garnered a lot of unwanted attention because of the $400 price tag, not including the game itself. Despite still being in stock at the official store, GTA 6 Collector’s Edition called The Goodtime Vice City Collection is being sold at up to $1,750 on eBay by scalpers, and some will likely be scammers, so beware. Why it matters: The retail price was already quite high and drew comparisons with the cheaper and better Elden Ring and Red Dead 2 collector’s editions, but this scalped price is nothing short of ridiculous. On eBay, the GTA 6 collector’s edition is being sold for a $1,000 on average and one ad even lists it at $1,750. Now, it is to be noted that if you really want it, the retail version is still available in stock on the official site. Also, while most are just scalpers doing there things, there are a lot of scammers on eBay as well. However, these scalped prices could get even more insane once the stock runs out from the official store, which shouldn’t be too long. Anyhow, even at the retail price, not even including the game, is sort of a bad move by Rockstar. That won’t take away from the fact that it will sell out all the stock in just a few days, based on the massive hype around GTA 6.
