Story Highlight
  • Starfield, with its DLCs, will take up a behemoth 140 GB of storage on the PlayStation 5.
  • It will also integrate all Dual Sense features and will be enhanced for the PS5 Pro.
  • The title will release on the platform along with a new story DLC on April 7.

Ever since Starfield first launched on Xbox, there have been speculations that it might eventually come to PlayStation as well. Now, over 2 years since the initial launch, the space RPG is finally coming to PS5, and is already topping pre-orders

However, if you want to download Starfield on your PS5, it will take up a massive 140 GB of storage, including both DLCs. Additionally, the game is confirmed to feature PS5 Pro enhancements as well.

Why it matters: With PS5 Pro features, the console will undoubtedly become the best console to experience Bethesda’s space adventure; however, it will come at a massive cost of a huge amount of disk space.

The base game will be around 123.347 GB, the Shattered Space DLC will be 12.502 GB, and the new upcoming expansion, Terran Armada, will be 4.017 GB, occupying a total of around 140 GB of the PS5 SSD.

The title will support the full array of PS5 features, such as the DualSense light bar, Adaptive Triggers, and more. Additionally, PS5 Pro enhancements will also be in place, but it’s unclear whether it’ll use the enhanced PSSR.

So, for now, users will have to free up quite a bit of space for Starfield on PlayStation. The title was one of the biggest new IPs from Bethesda in years, and based on the pre-order numbers, it seems like it’ll be a hit on PS5
