Wuchang: Fallen Feathers PC Requirements Point to Solid Optimization

7 Year Old RTX 2070 Is The Recommended GPU!

Story Highlight
  • The PC system requirements for Wuchang: Fallen Feathers are now available.
  • GTX 1060 (6GB) is the minimum requirement, while RTX 2070 is the recommended GPU requirement.
  • The developer has not stated what resolution or framerate these settings target.

The complete PC requirements for Wuchang: Fallen Feathers are now out ahead of its July 24 launch. The game seems well-optimized for PC, but it still needs decent hardware to run smoothly.

Developer Leenzee shared during a community showcase that the game runs on Unreal Engine 5 and was tested with DLSS or FSR upscaling turned on. So, the listed system specs are based on having these upscaling settings enabled.

Why it matters: Right now, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is already among the top 15 best sellers on Steam, and players will be happy to see the requirements listed by the developer.

For the minimum requirements, the developers suggest using at least an Intel Core i5-8400 or an AMD Ryzen 5 1600. These processors are a bit older but still good enough for most newer games. Players will also need 16GB of RAM, which is now pretty standard, especially for games made with Unreal Engine 5.

For the graphics card, the developer suggests something like a GTX 1060 with 6GB of VRAM or an RX 580 with 8GB. These are mid-range cards from several years ago, so if your PC is built within the last 5–6 years, you should be fine running the game at lower settings.

For a much better experience, the recommended requirements are a bit more demanding. It includes an Intel Core i7-9700 or AMD Ryzen 5 5500.

For graphics, the developer recommends an RTX 2070, AMD RX 5700 XT, or Intel Arc A750. These cards can handle better graphics and should run the game well with DLSS or FSR turned on.

Leenzee wants players to use DLSS/FSR from the start, which suggests that raw performance without upscaling may struggle. Still, the listed requirements point to an optimized port, and anything above the recommended specs should give a smoother experience.

The game will be available day one on Xbox Game Pass.

It’s not clear what resolution or frame rate these specs are meant for, or if they aim for 1080p at 60 fps. Reports note that performance will “likely vary,” and there’s no mention yet of 4K targets.

Regardless, stay tuned for real-world FPS tests after July 24 – that’ll show how well Wuchang: Fallen Feathers runs beyond theory. Have you pre-ordered the game, or are you waiting to see real-time performance benchmarks first? Comment down below or join the conversation on the Tech4Gamers forum.
