For context, this player count puts the Capcom release above both Elden Ring and Hogwarts Legacy, two massive titles from the past few years. The game is now Steam’s 8th most popular title by player count.

However, it seems Monster Hunter Wilds is not as unanimously liked as one would have expected. The game currently sits at a Mixed rating on Steam, with 60% of the reviews being negative.
