Thanks to a powerful +12V rail, power output is maximized for high-end graphics cards. Moreover, the +5V and +3.3V outputs are based on DC-DC circuitry, stabilizing voltage under different loads.
The very advanced MPS1213 and UP3861 chips also help ensure optimal performance and efficient synchronous rectification. Elsewhere, GameMax boasts an 80 Plus Gold rating certification with efficiency conversion of up to 90%.
No compromises have been made in the safety department either, with OVP (over-voltage protection), UVP (under-voltage protection), and various other forms of protection being guaranteed out of the box.
The GX-850 PRO comes with a modular design and compact form factor. Despite GameMax’s focus on performance, the power supply has been built to offer clean aesthetics that fit with various PC setups.
