2023's Blockbuster Star Wars Game Available For $5.99/month!

Story Highlight
  • Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has been added to EA Play.
  • Multiple users report being able to download the game, but it has not been added in all regions.
  • The game will also be available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC once fully released on EA Play.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the biggest game that fans of Star Wars can play today. As one of 2023’s best-rated releases, it immediately became the best-selling game of April after a strong start.

Though the title was criticized for its poor PC performance, this release was a great success for the franchise. Since its 2023 launch, the game has been discounted various times. However, it has now joined EA Play.

Why it matters: The publisher typically launches its blockbuster AAA titles on EA Play one year after launch, so it seems the wait for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is now over.

Multiple users on Twitter and forums like Resetera have reported that Respawn Entertainment’s latest game is now part of EA Play.

It is important to note that an official announcement regarding the game has not come from EA itself. However, various users have already confirmed that they were able to download the game through the subscription.

It seems this change has been made in a select few regions for now. However, we expect all regions to follow after an official announcement. Since EA Play is part of Game Pass for PC and Game Pass Ultimate, these subscribers will also gain access to the game.

EA recently increased the price of its service. The annual subscription now costs $40, while the monthly service is priced at $6.

We still think the latter is a great deal, especially for those who have yet to try Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Additionally, games like Dead Space Remake can be found on the service.

Despite the enticing offer, we warn PC gamers that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is still far from perfect on PC.

The game suffers from Unreal Engine traversal stutter, a problem that continues to plague even the first entry on PC to this day. However, the title has improved significantly on consoles after recent patches.
