According to Edge Magazine via Reddit, Gareth Damian Martin, the developer behind Citizen Sleeper, has stated that Game Pass has been essential in saving many indie studios.
He believes this service often allows teams an opportunity to continue making games, even though the money is not a big deal for Microsoft.
