According to Microsoft, the Xbox 360 store is being permanently shut down in July 2024.

The change will take effect starting on July 29, 2024.
Following July 29, 2024, Xbox 360 users will lose the ability to purchase games on the console’s digital platform. This would mean that any digital games that are not backward compatible with new Xbox consoles will be lost forever.
Fortunately, users will retain access to their existing libraries. Microsoft confirms that already purchased games will be playable on the console, and this also applies to online gameplay.
This update confirms that the end is near for the Xbox 360 console, and the storefront’s closure will likely mark the end of an era for many gamers who grew up with the popular console.
While the announcement was inevitable, some may find this move disappointing from Microsoft. On the bright side, the gaming giant has provided ample time for users to purchase their favorite games before the store is shut down forever.
