Microsoft's 10-Year Deal Already In Effect!

Cloud gaming provides a convenient alternative to the challenges of downloading and installing games. Gaming giants like Xbox are already heavily invested in cloud gaming, offering various alternatives to traditional gaming methods.

Microsoft has recently signed agreements with gaming giants like EE and GeForce Now to bring its first-party games to a bigger audience. A few months after the deals were signed, the first few games are beginning to arrive on the platforms.

According to Nvidia, various Bethesda games are arriving on GeForce Now in August.

Why it matters: Bethesda has released various exceptional titles over the years, and cloud services will ensure these games are playable for users without access to high-end PCs and consoles.

According to the announcement, Nvidia GeForce Now is bringing games from the Doom, Quake, and Wolfenstein franchises. However, the gaming giant has not revealed the specific games from each franchise.

Nonetheless, fans can expect popular hits like Doom Eternal and the recent Wolfenstein games to be included. Users looking to try these titles must be subscribed to the Ultimate or Priority tiers.

Over the next few months, users can anticipate even more games from the Xbox library. This means Activision Blizzard will bring IPs like Call of Duty and Diablo to the service after Microsoft’s $68.7 billion merger is approved.

In addition to Bethesda’s games, the highly anticipated Baldur’s Gate 3 is joining the subscription. The game has already reached over 250K concurrent players, becoming the second-biggest Steam launch of 2023.

Nvidia GeForce Now can come in handy for users without high-end PC hardware. Users can gain access to GPUs like the GeForce RTX 4080 through the higher tiers of the subscription, allowing support for modern features like ray tracing.
