Diablo 4 has set multiple new records for Blizzard’s long-running franchise. Following a record-breaking beta with over 62 million hours of playtime, the game quickly made over $650 million in less than seven days.
As such, the game is a massive success by all metrics. However, Blizzard hopes to continue this success with a live-service model, updating the game and bringing new content each season.
The gaming giant may have also considered resorting to subscription services, with Brazilian application PICPAY potentially hinting at the game’s addition to Xbox Game Pass.

The application recently showed a banner claiming that Diablo 4 is available on the subscription service. The application may have released the promotion ahead of schedule, hinting at the game joining the service at a later date.
