Redfall Has Already Dropped Out Of Top 50 Most Played Xbox Games

In Less Than A Month Since Its Release!

It is no secret that Redfall has failed to impress players. Despite being the first major AAA release from Xbox in 2023, the game failed to deliver a memorable experience.

The game has been constantly losing players with each passing day, and recently, it even plummeted below the top 50 most-played Xbox games in less than one month of its release.

Why it matters: Redfall was one of the most eagerly anticipated Xbox games this year. Arkane Studios also had a solid track record before Redfall.

Redfall PlayStation 5

Redfall seemed promising before its launch, but the game received backlash when it was announced that it would skip 60FPS on the Xbox Series X|S at launch.

It was downhill for Redfall from there because the game’s release was a disaster due to countless bugs, poor AI, and more. With numerous bad reviews, it became Arkane’s lowest-rated game.

Looking at the top 50 most played Xbox games, it includes games like Hogwarts Legacy, Grand Theft Auto 5, and more. However, unlike many of these games, Redfall is also included in Xbox Game Pass.

As such, players do not appear too interested in the game, which is not a great sign for a game released less than a month ago.

Previously, Redfall joined the list of the 15 worst-reviewed games on Steam. The game has also lost many players on Steam, so it is unsurprising that a similar trend has been observed on Xbox.

This poor state of Redfall has made fans concerned about Starfield, which has also been heavily anticipated since its announcement. However, Microsoft will likely be extra careful with Starfield now, potentially leading to much promise for the game.
