AMD Has Certified ‘7’ Mid-Range RDNA 3 (Radeon RX 7000 Series) GPUs

AMD Is Preparing RX 7800, 7700, or 7600 Variants!

Since AMD and NVIDIA first introduced their high-end graphics cards a few months ago. We have graphics cards like the GeForce RTX 4090 or GeForce RTX 4080 and the Radeon RX 7900 XTX and XT available on the market.

Unless we count the $850 worth of GeForce RTX 4070 Ti in this category, there isn’t anything mid-range currently available on the market from a new generation of graphics cards. Now, it has been discovered that AMD has certified 7 mid-range RDNA 3 GPUs, which could mean the arrival of the RX 7800, 7700, or 7600.

The South Korean National Radio Research Agency receives certification requests from AMD (listed as ATI Technologiesforthcoming ) for new graphics cards. D707’s board number is listed with to seven variations, which suggests that this board will see a lot of derivatives.

Harukaze, a trustworthy leaker, is back with new details about AMD graphics cards. This time, 7 new D707 series GPUs have been certified by AMD. First off, this number doesn’t give us any information, but we do know that the AMD RX 7900 XTX and XT were D702 and D704, respectively.

So by this, we can confirm that a higher value for this number denotes a less powerful GPU, therefore in this case, we would find the graphics cards which could correspond to RX 7800, and the upcoming RX 7700, or RX 7600 which will ship with PCIe 4.0 x8 interface rather than x16.

This change would be made to save costs in the mid-range, although NVIDIA with its GeForce RTX 4070 will use PCIe 4.0 x16. We have already verified in several generations of graphics cards that the interface PCIe 4.0 to x8 or even 3.0 to x8 does not cause great performance losses.

Even the mighty GeForce RTX 4090 barely loses 2% when using PCIe 4.0 x8, so a lower caliber GPU should see negligible FPS loss.

Although we are not so sure if we are discussing Navi 32 or Navi 33, we are certain that the RX 7800 and RX 7800 XT will be among the first to arrive. Since the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 is expected to launch this spring, AMD GPUs will compete against it according to the company trend that is already well known.
