Kratos Is Returning To PC Soon!

Story Highlight
  • The rumored God of War Ragnarok PC port might be announced soon, according to a reliable leaker.
  • The leaker states that he could also share the release date very soon.
  • PlayStation is expected to launch the game before the end of 2024.

The possibility of a God of War Ragnarok PC port has been circulating for some time now, but PlayStation has yet to release any official information. Despite the lack of an official announcement, a reliable insider has stayed adamant that the announcement is closer than ever.

Why it matters: God of War was recently dethroned from its position as PlayStation’s biggest single-player PC port. However, the franchise could return on top with the latest entry heading to PC.

A well-known Twitter leaker, Billbil-Kun, recently stated that the God of War Ragnarok PC Port will be announced very soon. This is the same leaker who revealed that the 2022 game was the next PlayStation exclusive to make its way to PC.

Billbil-Kun, however, stated that he cannot share a precise announcement window at the moment. However, the leaker expects to reveal details about a potential release date very soon.

There was speculation that the announcement might occur during a PlayStation Showcase this month. However, with Konami’s Silent Hill Transmission scheduled for this week, a showcase now seems unlikely.

Sony could still have plans to go ahead with a State of Play before the end of May. If this ends up being the case, God of War Ragnarok seems all but guaranteed to be announced for PC during the event.

God of War Ragnarok was released for the PS4 and PS5 in November 2022. Since then, the game has made a huge name for itself.

The PC port is expected to be announced in May, so it should launch before 2025. Sony’s recent ports have shown a recurring trend of smaller gaps between their first reveal and eventual release. We expect this to continue for God of War Ragnarok.

The port will finally allow PC players to experience Kratos’ complete saga in the Norse realm. This franchise is expected to try something different in the future, but till then, the PC port should give fans something to hold on to.
