ASUS TUF Gaming B760M-BTF: Motherboard With Connectors On Back

Perfect Choice For Stealth Build With No Visible Cables!

Asus has launched its first BTF (Back To Future) motherboard, ASUS TUF Gaming B760M-BTF WiFi D4. The new Micro-ATX motherboard is based on the budget-friendly Intel B760 chipset.

Specifically, all the motherboard has connectors in front, but in this motherboard, the connectors and headers are on the other side of the board. With more accessible access to most connectors, cable management would be significantly more accessible as long as the PC case contains all the necessary cutouts.

As you can see in the above image, all the connectors linked to the power supply (ATX 24 pins + 2x EPS 8+4 pins), together with the USB headers or the 4x SATA III ports, are hidden in the back.

This motherboard offers to build an extremely clean system without being an expert, so you will have a completely clean PC without showing a single cable.

This great emphasis on hiding the wiring is not only linked to aesthetics but also to cooling. Removing all the wiring in between allows better airflow circulation inside the PC.

Due to ASUS’s choice of putting DDR4 memory on this motherboard, building a system around it should be cheaper. Officially it supports up to 4xDDR4-5333 overclocked memory. Moreover, you will also find a 2.5Gb Ethernet port and even WiFi-6 built-in.

Things that can be located on the back;

  • CPU – EPS
  • 24pin motherboard
  • USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C and USB 3.2 Gen1 headers
  • SATA
  • M.2 2280 slot
  • USB 2.0 internal headers
  • ARGB headers
  • CPU / CHA fan headers
  • HD Audio, Thunderbolt headers
