Xbox Games Showcase Announced For June 11th, 2023

Coming On June 11

Following the announcement of a Starfield Direct, Microsoft has confirmed the date for a new Xbox Showcase. The latest Xbox Games Showcase is scheduled for June 11

This showcase should give fans a look at the next year of Xbox and Game Pass content.

Since Starfield is getting a dedicated Direct after the showcase, Bethesda’s upcoming RPG might not be featured at the main event. This would allow other games like Hellbalde 2 to take center stage at the Xbox event.

Microsoft conducted a similar event last year featuring games like Redfall, Forza Motorsport, and more. However, the gaming giant has a lot of competition in 2023 and will likely need to bring even bigger reveals to keep up with the competition.

E3 is set to return in 2023, along with Summer Games Fest. While Microsoft will not be a part of E3, the Xbox Games Showcase will take place close to these two events, leading to plenty of gaming announcements close to each other.

Xbox has been silent about first-party games like Fable, Avowed, Indiana Jones, and more for a long time. The upcoming Xbox Games Showcase will be the perfect opportunity to reveal more details about these projects.

A PlayStation showcase is also rumored for the coming months. This would put the two gaming giants head to head during a similar timeframe. This should mean that Xbox fans have much to look forward to in the coming months.
