Lost Over 16% Value In The Last 5 Days!

Story Highlight
  • Ubisoft has been facing many problems lately, especially since the release of Star Wars Outlaws.
  • The company was also been accused of breaking the law with its recent mentorship program.
  • Now, in just a month, Ubisoft’s stock value has dropped by over 30%, which is concerning.

Ubisoft was once a company that put smiles on many players’ faces. It is behind many renowned games that are worth playing. However, lately, the gaming giant hasn’t been favored by the fandom.

The last game made by Ubisoft that was actually fun to play was Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Other than that, all the recent releases have been highly criticized. Now, after the poor launch of Star Wars Outlaws, the company’s worth has dropped significantly.

Ubisoft’s value has dropped by over a whopping 30% in just a month.

Why it matters: Ubisoft is criticized by the fandom due to how it handles the games now. Fans aren’t fond of the new additions being made to their beloved franchises.

Ubisoft Stock Value Drop
Ubisoft Stock Value Has Seen A Massive Drop Recently

Ubisoft is still one of the behemoths in the industry, but with how things are going, it might not be able to stay on its feet for longer. Star Wars Outlaw’s failure was already pretty much obvious, and it caused the company many problems.

Even the shareholders pointed out this problem, and there were discussions about the giant going private. The company has lost over 80% of its value in the last 5 years. For reference, it lost nearly 3% value just today and over 16% in the last 5 days

This shows that the developer’s recent launch wasn’t close to ideal. The gaming giant was also recently accused of breaking the law with its controversial mentorship program. Lately, Ubisoft has been facing problems after problems.

Star Wars Outlaws
Star Wars Outlaws Has Been Criticized By The Fandom A Lot

It is unlikely to get out of this controversial situation as Assassin’s Creed Shadows is also nearing launch. While some believe it can save the giant, it might not be possible, given that the fandom has highly criticized this game, too

Ubisoft has also been caught using bots to promote AC Shadows. So, the response from fandom has been lukewarm and it is unlikely to change. We hope the gaming giant can make a comeback soon and earn its fandom’s trust again.
