A Plague Tale series is one of the most underrated games of all time. They take you on a journey filled with a rollercoaster of emotions, a great environment, and decent gameplay. It also has another entry coming in the franchise.
Asobo Studio last year revealed Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, which serves more as a spin-off than a sequel. Nonetheless, the title has now been nominated for the ‘Most Wanted’ award at the Golden Joystick Awards 2025.
Why it matters: While the title has flown under many people’s radar, it will surely be one of the best releases next year, as Asobo Studios has yet to fail to hit the mark with the A Plague Tale franchise.
The Golden Joystick Awards recently revealed nominees for various categories, including the Most Wanted game. Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy has also received a nomination, indicating it has a significant fan following.
However, it seems that a nomination is where its journey will end, as it is up against the likes of GTA 6, The Witcher 4, OD, Marvel’s Wolverine, and more, which are all much bigger names than the former.
Resonance takes you for a ride with the character of Sophia, who plays a key role in the sequel. There hasn’t been any gameplay trailer so far, but it seems that the title will skip on rats this time and have a different focus.
You can vote for the title or any other option here, as voting is now live. To no one’s surprise, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is the most nominated game at the awards. The awards are set to air on November 20th.
