Sony's Next Exclusive On PC?

Among many Sony PlayStation 5 exclusives, some of them have already made their way onto PC, including Returnal, God of War, Uncharted 4, and the upcoming The Last of Us Part 1 Remake. It seems Sony is now getting ready to launch its next exclusive title on the PC platform.

According to a recent job listing from the developer Nixxes, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart might be on the table for PC next.

Middleware is a tool developed by Coherent Labs used to implement game UI, while the most recent game that has utilized this tool is Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.

Nixxes have handled many Sony-exclusive ports in the past like Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that it’s now tasked with the next Sony exclusive. Even though the job listing might not be a direct confirmation for the development of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart for PC, it going to come to the platform sooner or later.

Sony is also currently showing a lot of interest in the PC platform and has managed to launch its exclusive titles on the PC platform, 1-2 years after its release on PlayStation.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is developed by Insomniac Games and was released for the Sony PlayStation 5 on June 11, 2021, one year after its announcement. The game offers a third-person action-adventure experience and is a sequel to the last Ratchet & Clank game called Into The Nexus from the year 2013.

With exciting new Sony exclusives making their way onto the PC platform, the only ones left on the table are Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us Part II, and the much-awaited God of War: Ragnarok.

What Sony-exclusive game are you most excited about in the coming future?
