Audeze headphones are among the leaders in the world for high-end audio and professional gaming products. These headphones come with an average price of $200 to $400, but their top-of-the-range headphones can cost over $5000.

Sony claims that this acquisition will enhance the audio experience for PlayStation and its users, and the gaming giant hopes Audeze will continue to offer innovative audio solutions.
Following the acquisition, Audeze will operate independently and create cross-platform products, but the acquisition will also enable the company to create products exclusive to the PlayStation ecosystem.
Therefore, the acquisition will bolster Sony’s efforts to rapidly introduce new innovations to the audio experience on PlayStation and provide more support to Audeze for future endeavors.
Over the coming years, Audeze products are expected to offer full compatibility with the PS5 Tempest Engine technology, making it easier to enjoy a quality sound experience on the latest PlayStation console.
This information has been confirmed in a Sony press release, leading to excitement for future collaborations between Sony and Audeze.
Currently, PlayStation offers headphones like the Pulse 3D. However, the gaming giant has recently introduced new additions to its lineup, like the Pulse Elite headset and Pulse Explore earbuds.
At the higher end, Sony offers the INZONE H series products, but this acquisition should ensure that this is just the beginning for officially licensed headsets and earbuds for the PlayStation 5 console.
