Over Half The Price Of Base Game!

With Summer Game Fest coming up soon, many fans have been waiting to learn more about Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. The developers recently confirmed that they were at the final stages of production, and fans would hear more in June.

A few hours before Summer Game Fest, a listing for Phantom Liberty has been spotted, potentially leaking the price for the DLC ahead of release. The leak suggests that the Phantom Liberty DLC will cost $34.99.

Why it Matters: Phantom Liberty will be the only expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 and CD Projekt Red has a great track record with expansions for The Witcher 3. Therefore, fans have high expectations for the expansion.

As noted by a Reddit user, GOG shows Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will cost £29.99, which is equivalent to $34.99. It is possible that the listing is showing a placeholder price tag. However, the final price will likely be close to the $34.99 price point.

This means Phantom Liberty could cost over half of the base Cyberpunk 2077 game. CD Projekt Red has likely included several hours of content, but fans will likely be curious if the expansion will be worth the asking price.

At the time of writing, the listing has been taken down already, and it was up for a very short time. Unfortunately, the listing did not reveal much about the release date. However, it was recently reported that the DLC might be released sometime around August 2023.

Summer Game Fest will go live in just a few hours, and Cyberpunk 2077 will make an appearance at the event. Therefore, fans can expect to learn more about Phantom Liberty DLC, including the release date and official price soon.

The next few days should be an exciting time for Cyberpunk 2077 fans as the DLC will bring more content to the game, and Idris Elba is also joining the cast of Cyberpunk 2077.
