These 3GB GDDR7 chips have not been used in GPUs before, and it seems the recent DRAM price hikes have put Nvidia in a difficult position. The report even states that current RTX 50 prices could go up due to the memory situation.
Nvidia has yet to officially comment on the matter for now. The gaming giant could, therefore, cancel the Super lineup internally and move on with plans for the RTX 6000 lineup.
