Hogwarts Legacy: There Is Currently No DLC Planned

Expert Verified By

Maybe In The Future!

Ever since the release of Hogwarts Legacy earlier this month by Avalanche Software, the uproar surrounding the game has been insane, and the game has far exceeded the expectations of fans and critics.

Many players who have already completed the game are hoping for a DLC. Still, it doesn’t appear that any are in the works, as recently, game director Alan Taw revealed at the IGN Fan Fest 2023 that there are no current plans for a Hogwarts Legacy DLC because the creators were so focused on the game’s release.

He stated,

“We’ve been really heads down bringing [Hogwarts Legacy] to life. so at the moment, there are no current plans for DLC.”

So it looks like a Hogwarts Legacy DLC is not coming anytime soon, but looking at how well fans have perceived the game all around the world, the likelihood of one in the future seems relatively high.

The J.K. Rowling controversy presented the game with a significant challenge right at its inception, and even developers boycotted it. Still, Hogwarts Legacy overcame all the problems and has already been a considerable success for Avalanche Software.

Even before the official release, those who bought the game’s deluxe edition had three days of early access. Even then, Hogwarts Legacy almost hit nearly 500K concurrent players on Steam.

After the official release, the numbers have jumped even higher, and Hogwarts Legacy is currently at the top spot for Steam’s global top-sellers chart and has an all-time peak of 879,308 players, which is a massive milestone.

Considering everything, the hype surrounding Hogwarts Legacy is not going to die anytime soon. We are excited and looking forward to what the future holds for Hogwarts Legacy. This is the limited information we have for now, but we will be looking for more news regarding Hogwarts Legacy in the future.
