New Nintendo Switch Variant Reportedly Coming In Winter 2023

Finally!

The Nintendo Switch has seen tremendous success and increased popularity ever since its release in March 2017. A few weeks back, Nintendo Switch surpassed PlayStation 4 to become 3rd best-selling console.

Despite its popularity, the Nintendo Switch falls short in hardware compared to today’s standards. This is because it has been almost 6 years since the Nintendo Switch was released.

It appears that Nintendo has finally decided to upgrade the Nintendo Switch console. Recently, a rumor on 4chan spread that Nintendo is working on a graphics enhancement patch for the new Nintendo Switch models.

Although the rumor originated on 4chan, many people disbelieved and ignored it. However, a lot of it turned out to be accurate, and it wasn’t only about the announcement from the recent Nintendo event. Still, the last sentence also referred to a new Nintendo Switch console variant.

It stated,

“We are working on a graphics enhancement patch for the new Nintendo Switch models that will be released alongside DLC2.”

DLC 2 for the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will be released in the Winter of 2023, so we can expect the new Nintendo Switch console variant alongside it.

Nintendo fans have been clamoring for an upgrade for a very long time. Still, it appeared that Nintendo had hesitated to make one because of several negative experiences with consoles like the Gamecube and the Wii, which performed exceptionally well. Still, the Wii U was a complete failure, but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore.

We are excited and looking forward to the upcoming Nintendo Switch console. This is the limited information we have for now, but we will be looking for more news regarding the Nintendo Switch in the future.
