The fans have been worried about the next entry in the Mass Effect franchise. However, the director of the title has recently assured fans, stating that the game is still in the works even after the layoffs.

While the fans of the franchise have been worried about the next entry in the Mass Effect as the studio has been going through massive layoffs, Mass Effect 5 director Michael Gamble has recently assured fans that the title is still in pre-production.

as the notes have said, we are still in pre production.

Not too long ago, the former Dragon Age boss also claimed that the Mass Effect is unlikely to enter production anytime soon. However, it appears that Michael Gamble is still confident about the title’s development.

Once the game leaves pre-production, BioWare will likely hire more developers to work on the next entry in the Mass Effect franchise, but there is still a long way to go. 

Nonetheless, it looks like the recent layoffs may only cause Mass Effect 5 to get delayed a little and won’t harm the title in any other way.
