Story Highlight
  • MachineGames has just released Indiana Jones and The Great Circle.
  • It appears that the developers have already been working on multiple other projects.
  • One of the projects could be the next entry in the Wolfstein franchise.

MachineGames just recently released Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, which has already become the highest-rated Xbox first-party title of the year and the most popular game on Xbox Game Pass, beating huge titles like Stalker 2 and others.

Following this massive launch, it appears that the developers are already working on other projects that have yet to be announced.

Why it matters: Before the announcement of Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, many thought MachineGames was working on the next entry in the Wolfenstein franchise. Therefore, that is also a possibility.

As seen in the screenshot above, the official LinkedIn profile of the Audio Director at MachineGames, Pete Ward, suggests that the developers have other projects in the works that have yet to be announced.

Although nothing much has been revealed about the projects, one of the titles could be the next entry in the Wolfenstein franchise. MachineGames previously worked on four titles in five years before moving away from the franchise.

Therefore, one of the obvious choices to guess is the next mainline entry in the Wolfenstein franchise. It is also possible that the developers may be working on a spinoff simultaneously, as the LinkedIn post suggests multiple titles.

The developers could also be working on a new IPbut it’s best to take this with a grain of salt, as nothing is officially confirmed.

As of now, the developer is focusing on releasing Indiana Jones on PS5, so fans will have to wait a little longer to learn about MachineGames’ next project
