- Naughty Dog revealed its new IP, Intergalactic, in 2024, but there’s still no release window.
- Several new job listings suggest that the game could be nearing the end of development.
- It could arrive somewhere in mid-2027, aligning with other Naughty Dog releases.
Naughty Dog has been largely criticized this console generation for taking a back seat. Apart from remasters or remakes, the company hasn’t released anything in a while; it does have its new IP, Intergalactic, currently in the works.
While there is no official confirmation of when it will be released, new job listings suggest that Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet could be nearing completion, as the studio is hiring several language QA testers.
Why it matters: Many anticipated that the studio might even skip this entire generation as Intergalactic’s release window wasn’t certain, but based on this new development, it might release somewhere in the middle of next year.

We spotted multiple Naughty Dog listings for language QA Testers, including French, Portuguese, German, Italian, and Korean. The language QA usually happens when the development is near completion.
This suggests that the title is almost complete and could only be lacking some finishing touches and going through quality assurance. Based on rumors, we are expecting the game to launch around mid-2027.

This also aligns with Naughty Dog’s recent launches. Original versions of all of its last few games, The Last of Us Part 2, Uncharted 4, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, TLOU Part 1, also targeted the same mid-year release window.
