Recent Leak Regarding The Intel Core i5-14600KF Has Us Looking For 14th-Gen CPUs!

As Intel Core i5-14600KF based on Raptor Lake ReFresh approaches its release date, leaks have hit the surface. Already many benchmarks of the processor are on the internet. Today Geekbench released the benchmarks of this new upcoming Intel CPU.

Just like in Laptops, we wait for Meteor Lake as a new architecture; in PC, Intel launch improves the version of the current architecture and makes it more reliable. This is the third iteration of the LGA 1700 socket since Raptor Lake is an improved and optimized version of Alder Lake.

According to Geekbench, the Intel Core i5-14600KK specifications feature 6 P-Cores (12 threads) and 8 E-Cores (8 threads), totaling 14 cores and 20 threads. The cores are based on the same 10ESF process node as before and use the Raptor Cove & Gracemont core architecture.

The Intel Core i5-14600KF has 24 MB of L3 cache and 20 MB of L2 cache. The CPU has a basic clock speed of 3.5 GHz and can accelerate to 5.3 GHz (on a single core), 200mhz higher than i5-13600KF.

However, this figure can further be decreased in the final result as Core i5-14600F reaches 5.5GHz on boost. The F5 bios are the best support to run this processor.

If we compare Core i5-14600KF with i5-13600KF, they have the same cores and work under the same LGA1700 socket. The Core i5-14600KF achieves 2,794 points on a single core test, and the i5-13600KF earns 2,644 points in Geekbench results.

Regarding the multithread performance of both processors, Intel Core i5-14600KF reaches 17,190 points compared to 14,635 achieved by Core i5-13600KF. So we can see that it is an improvement a little above 5% and 17% respectively.
