Following earlier leaks and rumors for more Xbox first-party games heading towards PlayStation, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was finally announced to be released on the rival platform. 

The official release date for the game was just announced. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will arrive on the PS5 consoles on April 17, next month.

Why it matters: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle being announced for PS5 is a part of Xbox’s multiplatform strategy. In the future, PS5 users can expect similar Xbox exclusives on their platform. 

The release date for PS5 was announced in a new live-action trailer featuring Troy Baker, the voice actor behind Indy for the new game, alongside Nolan North, known for playing Nathan Drake in the Uncharted games.

Pre-orders for the game will start soon with both digital and physical versions available. Additionally, they’ll grant players access to a new traveling outfit and a whip in-game.
