Players Claim MachineGames Scammed Them With The Deluxe Edition!

Story Highlight
  • Indiana Jones Order of Giants DLC was just released on September 4 and went by unnoticed.
  • Most players aren’t happy with the DLC, stating that it’s overpriced and offers very little content.
  • Moreover, the premium upgrade for the game felt like a scam for many fans.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was one of the biggest releases of 2024, and despite that, the new DLC release slipped under many people’s radar. Since Hollow Knight Silksong released on the same day, the indie title has crushed the DLC and other titles in comparison.

Anyhow, Order of Giants isn’t making a strong impression to get noticed either. On Steam, the game currently has mixed reviews, with most users complaining that the expansion offers too little content for its expensive price tag.

Why it matters: Order of Giants DLC has been anticipated for quite some time now, and upon its release, fans found it quite underwhelming.

A Steam User Complaining About The DLC’s Price

Currently, the DLC has only 94 reviews on Steam, despite being released two days ago. As previously mentioned, the DLC’s release went unnoticed by many, which is perhaps the reason why there are only a handful of reviews.

Anyhow, most of the reviews are mixed, with players expressing disappointment with what they got with the expansion. One user mentioned that it only took him three hours to finish the DLC story and another hour to collect all the items.

Moreover, most of the DLC takes place in the sewers of Rome, which was quite disappointing. Furthermore, the Order of Giants DLC costs $20, and $35 for those who want a Premium Edition upgrade.

Essentially, the remaining $15 was only for an outfit and a digital art book. Many players said they were scammed by getting the upgrade.

This Xbox User Definitely Isn’t Happy With His DLC Purchase

Xbox users have had a similar experience, also stating that the DLC content was too short and overhyped for the end result they received.

The expansion isn’t inherently bad, but its scope feels underwhelming for the price and the long wait.
