GTA 6 is no longer the secret it once was. Following a reveal a few weeks ago, the trailer has broken various records on YouTube. However, the game was also leaked online last year after a hacker revealed up to 90 videos.

While the hacker behind the leak was arrested and has been in custody, he has now been indefinitely sentenced to hospital prison.

As reported by BBC, the 18-year-old hacker has faced a few grave consequences for his actions in 2022. Due to his mental state, the UK has not deemed fit to let him go, with the report stating:

“He will remain at a secure hospital for life unless doctors deem him no longer a danger.”

While the report states Arion Kurtaj will be let go once doctors no longer consider him a danger to society, this may not happen anytime soon. The 18-year-old has already confirmed intentions to continue his attacks.

According to a mental health, Arion Kurtaj is:

“highly motivated.”

Therefore, he will likely spend a few years in therapy behind bars. In the worst-case scenario, he could spend his entire life in prison. Making matters worse, Arion Kurtaj reportedly had a history of violent behavior.

In addition to Rockstar Games, he hacked the likes of Nvidia and Uber. Working with Lapsus$ gaming, this hacker disrupted more than a few major corporations during his time. It has also been claimed that last year’s hack cost Rockstar Games $5 million.

The 18-year-old likely did not expect things to end up this way. Following the GTA 6 leak, he was bold enough to challenge Rockstar Games further, demanding a massive sum in exchange for the data.

In the aftermath, GTA 6 has been an undeniable hit from the first trailer, but he has not been able to move beyond last year’s incident. Hopefully, this incident changes Arion Kurtaj’s life for the better, motivating him to abandon the ways of harming other businesses and using his skills for the good of the world.
