Story Highlight
  • Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is coming to PC on January 23, 2025.
  • The game requires a PC with at least 16GB RAM, an AMD Radeon RX 6600 or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU, and 155GB SSD storage.
  • To play at 4K resolution, a GPU with 12GB VRAM is recommended (16GB for Ultra settings).

During The Game Awards 2024, the release of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth for PC was announced, and now we know its requirements. Given what we’ve seen, the requirements are extremely demanding.

We’re talking about the fact that, at the very least, you need an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 to play at 1080p at 30 FPS in Low Quality. With this, you should already imagine that 4K at 60 FPS is a bit scary.

Obviously, we are looking at the same Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth for PlayStation 5 that was released in February 2024., except that this one will arrive on January 23, 2025, with some improvements along the way.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Demanding PC Requirements

The minimum requirements for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth for PC are a modern 4-core CPU, such as the AMD Ryzen 5 1400, along with 16 GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon RX 6600, Intel Arc A580, or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU. A 155 GB SSD capacity must accompany all of this.

Minimum requirements:

  • OS:  Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1400 or Intel Core i3-8100
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 6600, Intel Arc A580, or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
  • DirectX: Version 12 Ultimate
  • Storage: SSD with 155 GB capacity
  • Additional Notes: GPU with 12GB VRAM for 4K

Recommended requirements include a CPU with at least 6 cores, such as the AMD Ryzen 5 5600 or Intel Core i7-8700. Graphics requirements increase to an AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070.

Recommended requirements:

  • OS: Windows 11 64-bit
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 or 3700X / Intel Core i7-8700 or Core i5-10400
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT, Intel Arc B580 or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070
  • Additional Notes: GPU with 12GB VRAM for 4K

Ultra requirements call for a CPU with at least 8 cores. So, an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X or an Intel Core i7-10700. The RAM remains the same, but the graphics requirement increases noticeably to an AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX or an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080.
