With how good the remake looks now, it truly deserves to be a GOTY contender. The game had a pretty solid launch on PC, and the impressions are really positive. Due to that, fans are now demanding that the Bloober Team remake the first and third entries in the franchise

Why it matters: The Bloober Team wasn’t really trusted by the fandom, but after delivering a true next-gen remake, it has earned the fans’ favour. Many are now anticipating its next title.

Reddit is also full of people asking for more remakes.

Silent hill 3 its so nostalgic to me and i think a remake of it could be even more impressive than sh2 ,they even can change some things in the story to make it better

So, it seems like the developer expanding SH2’s story didn’t backfire at all. The fandom seems to enjoy it and is now demanding the same be done in the other remakes.

Fans now have high expectations for the next game, as they think the Bloober Team can do an even better job. Hopefully, the next title will be among this fan-favorite franchise.
