While the expectations were really high for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, as the franchise was finally getting a revival after a decade-long wait, the RPG quickly became one of the most disappointing releases of last year.

Following the poor release, it was recently confirmed that Dragon Age: The Veilguard would not receive further updates. Earlier, it was also reported that BioWare had fired every writer who worked on the title.

This sparked concerns within the fandom, but one of the developers has stated that Dragon Age isn’t dead.

Why it matters: The director behind Dragon Age: The Veilguard has also left EA after the disappointing attempt to revive the franchise. These series of events have given fans more than enough reason to be concerned.
