Hideo Kojima is respected in the gaming industry due to his achievements with Death Stranding, the Metal Gear series, and the fact that he edits and directs most of the trailers for his games.
His recent tweet indicates that the developer has again begun to edit a new trailer. With Gamescom 2023 right around the corner, there is a high possibility of Death Stranding 2 being featured at the event.
The event will already be massive as Microsoft is going all out with its biggest booth for Gamescom, bringing 25 games to the event. Gaming giants like Nintendo are also expected to attend.

However, the actors were not featured in the first trailer. Since Elle Fanning has a significant role in Death Stranding 2, she is likely to be included in the new footage, along with more details about the story.
