In fact, the game’s leak has spurred many pro-piracy games to come out in support of the title. A large number of gamers have now urged fans to support Remedy and buy Control Resonant.

As reported by IGN, some pirates are telling others to buy the game to support Remedy rather than treating the leak as a free pass.

Many are also saying that they may now buy the game despite not planning to do so initially. As such, the pre-release leak could end up turning out in Remedy and Control Resonant’s favor.

Others have discussed how Remedy’s unique approach to game design makes it a one-of-a-kind studio in the AAA industry. All in all, everyone seems to be on board with the idea of supporting the team.

I wasn’t planning to buy it, but now I feel I should. They do good games.
